Hi Martin

My HP ENVY Photo 6234 All-in-One Printer - see https://www.hp.com/ie-en/products/printers/product-details/17319427 - works fine for scanning with sane+hpaio, I use HPScan as a gui interface available from  https://hobbes.os-2.in/search?q=hpscan

Probably should add printing also works fine using cups+hplip

Not sure if it comes under Network (wireless) or USB connected as the option is for either... I use mine via wireless connection with a static ip address.

Regards

Pete

OS2 W45.2 makes my Canon LiDE 100 flatbed working with Tame/2 on USB connection. The app panel states device detected as Canon LiDE 60.

Let me know if it is OK, or any other configuration you made to make it work.

Hi Martin

I had a Cannon PIXMA MG7550 printer/scanner - https://www.canon.co.uk/printers/inkjet/pixma/pixma_mg7550/ -working a few years back.
Printing was via cups plus cups-bjnp, scanning used sane.

There was a problem being worked on by sane developers/porters where sometimes the scan did not finish ie no end of scan signal although the physical scan had completed. No idea if that was resolved as the printer broke and got replaced by the HP printer/scanner in previous post.

Pete

I'm assuming that at the time you connected it to OS/2 via USB (Scanner and Printer)

Hi Martin

While I can confirm it does work via USB I was using it via wireless connection.

OK.  My test worked on a guest machine of Virtualbox 7.1.4 r165100 Windows hosted. In case you receive a "device not found" alert, make sure first of all you've the USB connection enabled for such device in the guest machine (click/check the item identified in the usb connections list menu)
