Web browser by smartphone

Hello,

I sometimes connect to my android running droidVNC to browse the web, using the standard VNC viewer in OS/2-ArcaOS.

The benefit is that my phone is mine that I have control over (WiFi->Router->LAN) and video and audio can be viewed/listened to on the phone, while one can do most other browser things as usual.

Something better than VNC?

Interesting idea. I actually thought of it before but couldn't easily find an Android VNC server. Didn't think of looking a F-Droid where I found droidVNC-NG, have to set it up.

I'm doing same and have to tell that works well, it is only limited by the screen mirroring size: altough the VNC viewer window renders both vertical view and horizontal positioning of the smartphone, it would be nice if allowed to enlarge the actual size to a bigger one.  But -repeat- not bad also as it is

edit: just pointed my attention on the "resolution scale" setting in Droid VNC, that makes the window frame bigger/smaller in OS2 desktop

Is there a RDP server available too? In general I found RDP better cause you can set screen size an resolution on startup (independent of physical resolution). And copy/paste works. At least for my connections to Linux boxes I prefer RDP.
