I'm compiling this with VAC 3.08, using the supplied makefiles. Just used GCC to see if better error reporting.
My VAC 3.08 install, kindly donated by Arca Noae, doesn't have lnkods50.exe. I know very little about VAC 3.

My mistake: it's provided by ILink 5.0. A copy is attached.

OK thanks.
Now it dies with a couple of of unresolved externals. DisplayResize and mprintf.
These both seem to be defined in image\misc, so perhaps that is the first directory to compile.
Dariusz, I haven't done much besides things like removing some CTRL-Z and changing WIN95COMPILE to WIN95_COMPILE for consistency.
The OS/2 and Win95 code are intertwined and not protected by #ifdef good enough.

I've run into a dependency on Pen for OS/2 and need the SDK.

wow, is it real Embellish code, not fake?

it will be "Application of the year" if reanimate it. Every user needs such simple editor.

Wizard can update pictures for Buttons, toolbars.

Seems to be the actual source, released as GPL. Compiling it has proven to be a bitch though.

I added a screen capture of my version of Embellish with modified resources (button images) to my first post.
Let's see if Dave or someone else can create a version that accept button images with more than 16 fixed colors.

The attached image show the Objects Utility dialog, but I apparently need to move the coordinates for opacity, feather, X and Y position somewhat in the resource file.
