Worked on the butterfly pointers  to make them more visible and on the arrow pointers to make the arrow more visible.

I went back and tried anipointer 1.01 again. I like the animations.

However, it turns out that it works fine until I execute either Firefox or Dooble.  Then I must ctrl + alt +del several times to reboot.  Always hangs on these two programs.

Memory problem? Have you got most of FF and/or Dooble's DLL's loading high? Easiest test is to go to Programs-->Installed Software-->Firefox and run FFTurbo install, at least if you haven't already, and test again with FF. If you already have run FFTubo install, then I might be wrong.

I reinstalled the program again and now it works for both programs.

I have a faint memory that anipointer leaked memory. If my memory is right, eventually it will go back to the system hanging.

Thanks Dave.  I will keep an eye on it.  Right now I have Xcenters memory mapper monitoring my memory.  If it hangs, I will see what it shows.  Working on a drawingboard animation ptr set.

Hello David.

Which Animated Mouse pointers are you using? There was "AnimatedMousePointer_2010-07-04.zip" which was recompiled by eCo Software on 2010. Is that the one you are using?

New animated Drawing pencil ptr theme.  I am using it with my Drawingboard Bigicon theme, but can be used with any Bigicon theme.

This is just an animated pointer, not a set of different functional ptrs.  I made this because it would I think show up good on a large screen.

Just copy the folder to the OS/2 Pointers folder.  When using the mouse setup, be sure to have the arrow pointer selected and and then select the Load Set... button.  Then select the animated ballon ptr folder to load the set to change the arrow pointer after saving.

Made a new aninated mouse pointer set called Animated Ball Lightning Ptr Set.

Unzip to a temporary folder

Just copy the animated mouse set to you <drive>:\os2\Pointers directory

Then go to your System Setup folder and double click on the Mouse Icon.

Select Pointers Tab

Click on the Select Set... button

Look for Animated_Bal_Lightning_Ptr_set.

Select it and then click OK

Set should be loaded and working.
