Dooble Web Browser (QT6) for download

As you may have read already, the Dooble Web browser with the QT6 web engine is available for download in a convinient WPI package from: https://rpm.os2voice.org/warpin/experimental/

Do share your experience about that installation package and the browser here.

This version of Dooble use QT6 6.2.12 and the updated build of Dooble made on february 9, 2026 by Dave Yeo.

Installation went smoothly - no problems.

I edited the included dooble.cmd to add HOME for this variant of dooble within it's own directory tree ie

   '@set DOOBLE_HOME=J:\Programs\Dooble\.dooble'


Started dooble from the Dooble (QT6) 2025.11.25 object (dooble.cmd) within the Dooble (QT6) Website folder on the desktop.
Visited os2world and had a read of a couple of forum posts before it crashed with this:-

So, installation went well but looks like bits of qt6 need sorting...

To my unexpert eye, looks like an OOM (out of memory) crash while starting a new thread.
