Thanks for the reply & sorry for my delay in getting back.  Been very hectic.

I actually solved all these problems by upgrade to version 4.  Works like a charm now.  Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply.  I appreciate the walk through.

There doesn't appear to be a DHCP setting on my tcpcfg screen (see attached).  Also, if I try the start  /i  dhcpcd command, I get an error (also attached).

Could I be using an out of date version?  Thanks for your help.

Hello all.  I'm new to OS/2 and have a question about connecting to the web.  I've googled the heck out of the issue to no avail.

I recently acquired a copy of of OS/2 Warp version 3 (bluebox w/ the connection addition) and installed it under VirtualPC.  Works like a charm.  The only thing is, I need to be able to connect to the web.  I have two options on my machine, dial up or connection through a router which is attached to a cable modem.

I tried the dial up method, it rings, hand shakes and then hangs up.  I'm not sure why it's doing this, but I have checked and rechecked all of my settings and they appear correct.  I haven't tried calling my ISP as I figure they're not going to know much about the OS.

A much better option would be to connect via the router, but I'm not sure how to set this up in OS/2.  I have the NIC card all setup with the appropriate driver, I'm just not sure how to proceed from here.  Can anyone point me to step-by-step instructions?

Thanks for your help.  I appreciate any assistance.
