Hi bobvirago

Can you give more details?
Drive size, partitions size, and on which order are the windows and ecs partitions on the hadd. Or what is on the NTFS.IFS config.sys different from the e:drive and g:

Regards

   I have 2 HD

   1 HD   500g  sata

    partition
                bootmanager
    c: ntfs    120 g       prim  bootable " C:win7"
    d:  fat32    32g       log
    e:   ntfs     32g      log  bootable :  : e:ecsrc5
    f:    fat32   2g
    h:  fat32    22g
    k:  ntfs      268g

   2 hd    250g   ide
              bootmanager    prim startable
       g:  jfs     60g             log  bootable "ecs 2.0"
       m: fat32 31g
       x:   jfs     100g
       y:   ntfs    47g

  i made a backup of my config G:
   i copy  the config from    e: to G: and replace    all E: to g:   reference ..

   the config is the same ...

   there is the first line

RUN=g:\ECS\SYSTEM\GenMac\DRIVER\HELPERW.EXE
REM [ Device Drivers ]
DEVICE=g:\OS2\BOOT\UNICODE.SYS
IFS=g:\ecs\boot\ntfs.ifs /RO:*
IFS=g:\OS2\JFS.IFS /LW:5,20,4 /AUTOCHECK:*
IFS=g:\OS2\HPFS.IFS /CACHg:2048 /CRECL:4 /AUTOCHECK:IG*
IFS=g:\ECS\BOOT\FAT32.IFS /CACHg:2048 /H /Q
PSD=ACPI.PSD /APIC
rem  /SMP /APIC /!NOD /TMR
REM  /APIC
REM    /SMP /APIC /!NOD /TMR
IFS=g:\OS2\BOOT\UDF.IFS /Q
IFS=g:\OS2\BOOT\CDFS.IFS /Q /W
DEVICE=g:\OS2\BOOT\OS2CDROM.DMD /Q
DEVICE=g:\OS2\MDOS\VCDROM.SYS

The only the difference  en G: i boot on  jfs  or e: ntfs

A question.  How did you manage to install eCS on a NTFS partition (e:)?  As far as I know the NTFS IFS driver is read only.

If the NTFS partition E: is in fact an HPFS partition then you need to check the versions of the NTFS driver on each version of eCS.  If they are different then use the one that 'sees' all the ntfs partitions.
