Title: eCS v2.0 Live Boot CD?
Post by: kim on 2009.06.21, 11:54:32
Does anyone know if Mensys has any plans to update the live boot CD with eCS v2.0? It would be nice to be able to live boot various system for testing purpose to see what works or not.

You could build your own, using the bootAble package from:

With a little imagination, and experimenting, you should be able to create something similar to the eCS live boot CD for yourself. I suggest starting with the WPI version, to avoid a huge learning curve. You do need an installed, and working, eCS 2.0 (pick one) system, to be able to build the boot CD (or DVD, if you prefer).

That would the be the next best option since I think it will take a while before we'll see an update to eCS 2.0 live boot cd.
