Hi! I'm russian OS/Researcher and technical writer. I can't buy commercial software, because very poor. I'm using only free/open/gnu/shareware (and describe it in articles). I see OS/2 at my friend's PC - this is coolest OS (i see many OSes in my life)! Anybody can help me? May be, you have unneeded distributive of OS/2 4.x, 3.x, 2.x, 1.x... 0.x? Non-english (or even non-european/ierogliphic) localization is not matter: i know all languages equally bad. %) May be, you can donate me? May be, you offer me another option or choice? Thanks for attention. Sorry, if offtopic. I know, my english is ugly... but i read better, than write

One could wait till they have enough sourcode/developers to create a free open source clone of OS/2 or one could help in the process (doing some of the coding or in other ways that is needed).

I get dutch version of OS/2 Warp 4! Thanks, Chris!! BUT... if anybody have any other unneeded software, i.e. OS/2 earlier than 4.x, OSes not from OS/2-family (AiX/x86 1.x/2.x, for example) - i'm waiting... with hope.

2Chris: thanks, thanks, thanks.

PS: i have collection of freeware OSes (QNX MomenticsNC, BeOS 5 Personal Edition, Minix, PC/GEOS 4 Breadbox Ensemble Lite, Solaris/x86 8 & 9, SkyOS, few DOSes, and want much more - for researching).

PPS: i not greed, but poor. i have not money for commercial soft and even for downloading big distributives of freeware OSes (i'net extremely expensive in Russia).

Hi, shiz0rat,

I know what you mean about being poor, I myself am from rural South Texas in the United states of America.

You could probably get a copy of OS/2 Warp 3 for $5 to $10
or a copy of OS/2 Warp 4 for around $70 to $90 from eBay at

http://www.ebay.com

if you spend some time to learn how to bid on eBay. You will probably have to use a credit card, a money order or PayPal. It is okay to email the seller before you bid to see what terms he will accept.

Good Luck !!
