I have some OS/2 Warp4 clients and a Win 2K server with AD . the clients can acces the shares on the Win 2K server , but now we migrated towards Win 2K3 server and the same OS/2 Warp 4 clients cannot acces the same shares anymore .. The clients cannot logon to the domain since the Win 2K3 server was installed in the AD. Netbios over tcp/ip and netbeui is activated on the Win 2K3 server ... Does anyone has some ideas please s ?? thanks

Hi, You could try using the Netlabs Samba client on the OS/2 PCs - http://samba.netlabs.org Cheers, Paul.

Hello, it looks like you have problem with a change in the handling of password hashes within Win Server. As OS/2 and older Win Clients send only LM-hashes (Lan Manager) during Logon, the Domain Controller must be enabled to accept them. So you should check the signin requirement settings of your server. Check e.g. http://www.leastprivilege.com/W2K3AndSecurityConfigurationWizard.aspx for example. Regards.
