If you cannot find it on an OS/2 software site or eBay, all Stardock OS/2 software has been "thrown out" since 2000. The morons didn't even realize they might as well continue selling the OS/2 software w/o support.

Stardock does not seem to be the brightest of companies.

You can find the "official" Stardock OS/2 support page at:

http://www.stardock.com/support/os2/

There you'll be able to find the last update files and notes which were made available for their OS/2 line of software.

Overall I have to give Stardock credit. Even though they have backed out of the OS/2 market (from what I understand, mostly for reasons because it wasn't making them money any more), they did produce a lot of decent software, and supported OS/2 for longer then most other companies did. And they've continued to keep the updates on their website, allowing those who have their software to get the last updates.

That's a lot better then many other companies who - once they decided to drop OS/2 - dropped all mention of those products from their websites.

They only keep updates on their site because they are too incompentent to remove the pages, they've got live pages on there which are 10 or more years out of date.

They only stayed with OS/2 as long as they did because it made them money when they stopped making money they stopped making software, that makes perfect buisness sense, on the other hand they also stopped selling their OS/2 software which already was made. And actively tried to stop any of their developers who even had an inkling of making a cross platform app.

I agree with You Fahrvenungen, Stardock was built nicest games for OS/2 in those times, and it is good to keep updates on site but I was ask something else:
As they do not sell games for OS/2 eCS anymore, what if I now want to use one of them; do they publish it somewhere for free ? I wasn't see nothing about this on theirs site ? Search for crack/serial ?

It would be nice if they open source their OS/2 games and software.

This is something I believe they never do. But they may donate games and stuff to community because they dont sell `em anymore ?

Perhaps they could upload them to Hobbes or another OS/2-eCS software site? It would alleviate them from having to store them on their site.
