| I heard news of a DoomLegacy for OS/2. Has anyone heard or tried this game? I had the url once but misplaced it. I think I saw mentioned when I received a news e-mail from OS/2 Voice (IIRC).

| I tried it. It requires .wad files from either the shareware or registered Doom games (fortunately I have the shareware version on a cd-rom). It works in a 'window'. It seems to be similar to the Doom launcher program that is at the hobbes.nmsu.edu site. I had hoped it was a full game. It is still fun to play. It has sound (something I did not have when I was playing Doom in a full dos screen).

| If you don't need the extra stuff that DoomLegacy provides, try MGLDoom (on Hobbes). It's much faster on my K6-III. |
