I already tried to detachted the ps/2 mouse but without any luck.

Paul,

I don't understand - are you using a PS/2-Mouse or a serial mouse?
PS/2-mouse is attached to the PS/2-port while a serial mouse is attached to COM1 or COM2.

Greetings
Thomas

Hi,

I think it has nothing to do with the mouse cause I done a all new install and instead a ps/2 mice I pluged in a serial mouse on com1. Then I choose a serial mouse on com1 as install. Still I got a black screen.

Hi,

I switched back from a ps/2 mouse to a serial mouse on com1.
This to see if the error would repeat, and it did.

Hi
I experienced a similar erratic mouse problem.

I am running Warp4 on older system.
I bought a new flat panel display.
I upgraded to SNAP commercial.
I had a wheel mouse, and then a new 2-button mouse.
Both are PS/2 style. Both acted crazily.
I tried all the software options I could find.

Today I found this:
-----------------------
IBM had updated the Single Mouse Driver (01/18/2005) and it is available for free download at:
http://service.software.ibm.com/os2dd/free/SingleMouse/smouse.exe
From: madodelDESPAM@ptdprolog.net
---------------------
here on OS2World.com

I installed the single mouse driver and it WORKS!!!

I hope it does the same for your troubled mouse

Hmm.. odd, but when reading about it kind of gives some hints. But, I upgraded recently from SNAP v2.x to v3.x and all suddenly, randomly, the trackpoint on my laptop stoped working, but the touchpad worked. And even more odd is that the system worked as it should for a while and then not. What I did was to install the Amouse driver to solve the problem, had a bit hard to reflect to the gfx driver.
