I was just looking at the FAQ section of this forum and noticed the question about the spelling checker being taken away. For those of us who can't spell or can't type, there is the Spellbound extension for Mozilla and Firefox. This is a spelling checker for any entry field used in a web page, so it is useful for all forum sites. It works well, and there is an OS/2 version of the library used. To install it, go over to http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/.

Thanks, will take a look at it and see if it can be implemented in UltraBoard.

That's not needed. It is installed into the browser (Mozilla or Firefox). Then it is available anywhere an entry field is used in a web form.

I noticed that, didn't assume that it was a plugin. The old spellchecker used within the forum was a plugin implementation to the script. Good plugin to install actually and run together with Mozilla and Firefox.

Hi,

I guess I am an old fashioned guy.

As I am constantly changing hard drives, I just use Webster's New World Dictionary to look up possible misspellings. I also learn new words and definitions while I have it open.

I also save a little disk space, too.
