About cardbus, that was my idea. Well I have not come to harmony with IBM Cardservices. It works allright with 16-bits cards, but sometimes bios is shadowing it (what the hell now that means), which means you have to reserve memory for the same. And before you understand that...Cardbus 8.0 is said to be broken, I don't know, I can't get it to work anyway, and I can't find its memoryadress in rmview, and because of that can't reserve memory. It is a mess, even if you have the right driver!!
My wife uses old win98 and (to be true) she never has problem to use 16-bit as well as 32-bit cards. Its a shame that we haven't that at least. We should have better! But maybee this is not a bountyproblem, maybee it is a problem for Serenity to take care of or?
A good OS should offer an easy and reliable up-to-date Cardbus system, I think.
I know I should be the first to sponsor this bounty, since I have suggested it, but I'm a little doubtful, as I said, if this really should be a bountyproject. What do you think?
