Well, to make a long story short; here is the scenario and I'm running WSFeB ACP1:

After I used Partition Magic 5 to resize a large partition and splitted it up into two. I have then to use LVM to re mount the partitions or volumes as LVM defines it. Okey, for once I was a bit fast and instead of setting up the two partitions as Compatible HPFS partitions I managed to mount them as LVM partitions.

With above in mind my old partion, full of data and including the new partition was corrupted. So during the boot the system traps.

The Solution:

The new and small partition ws nothing on to be saved and fastest to do was deleting it and set it up again. Okey, the trick then comes to the older parttion (drive letter D:). LVM can not unmount a volyme and if it could I think that would save a lot of trouble. So with DFSee following made the trick:

1: dfs.exe -log:disk
2: pclear 2 lvms
3: settype 04 2 07 35
4: part 4
5: fs hpfs
6: fixboot
7: part 4
8: q

1) enables loging when starting up DFSee.
2) clear the reaminings of LVM info in disk 2.
3) Sets type back to 0x07 (IFS) on disk 2 partition 4.
4) selects and display partition 4.
5) Forces HPFS mode into partiton 4.
6) Creates a new HPFS bootsector.
7) selects and display partition 4.
8) Quits DFSee.
