When in doubt, inform the author/creator of the program to see if they don't mind it being placed there (asking after informing them that the program would reach a greater number of people since Hobbes<http://hobbes.nmsu.edu> can be easily reached and more known by OS/2 Warp and eCS users).
OS/2 Warp-ed to the very end.

Well, since you are thinking about contacting the author. If it is an OS/2 software that haven't been updated in a while, it will be great to ask the author to also turn it freeware and/or open source.

And to also place (or allow you to place - if the person gives you the source code) at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu and/or http://www.netlabs.org .

I like a lot to have the open source projects on Netlabs, but we need to have a maintainer developer to put the code there. And that is going to be hard for abandon software that became open source.

If convince any author that is not working/supporting OS/2 anymore to turn a software to open source (preferable under the GNU GPL license) let me know to post a news at OS2World.com. That can give us a chance to find a developer for that project and later put it on netlabs.
