Hm, I've never tried what happens if both are running. I guess they can coexist, but both of them will start their own screen saving after a given timeout.
Sure. Just use WarpIn to de-install DSSaver. After a desktop restart, everything will be back to normal.
Absolutely not. Doodle |

Yes, his screensaver is pretty good stuff. I like the newest module he added which simulates a tv tuner reception of the desktop. That is pretty cool I think. I use it on warp4 and it works great. The nice thing about it too is that you can create and add your own modules. Hmmm, I will have to sit down and do some creative thinking...![]() regards, |

I have found one program that seems to bring Doodle's screensaver to a near stop. My CPU monitor shows the CPU no where near maxed out (aound 30%), but the screensavers slow down to where they barely are moving. The program is http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/apps/graphics/animate/vg2beta3.zip Only when both are running at the same time does this happen. |

The priority of the screen saver modules is very low (Idle), by default. This means, that if any other application wants to run in the background, the application will steal the CPU from the saver modules. Anyway, it wasn't my intention to create small applications which start at regular intervals, and eat the CPU from other apps. Most of the modules can be configured to run in regular priority. Try setting that. It should make things better for you. Doodle |

| Hi Doodle. Have made the move. Just what I want! Tiny CPU signature. Also noticed the Suspend mode works well too. Thanks for your help. NICK
