| Is there any known problem using the Matrox G550 Dual Head together with xfree86? And while on the topic does the xfree86 support the dual head feature? /Kim |

| XFree86/OS2 3.3.6 does not support the G550. Neither the G450. A few managed to get their G450 running with version 3.3.5 and the card definition of a G400. If you don't want to try this, you'll have to use version 4 instead. Though that will probably mean even more fiddling. To my knowledge no version of XFree86 supports the Dualhead features to date. |

| So what you're saying is that the G550 is supported in version 4? /Kim |

According to the documentation it is. And it is even said to support the dualhead, though I don't know how to configure it. |
