| Hi Doodle, I was wondering if there was anyway to make the Warpcenter lockup play along with your screensaver? It still uses the old lockup stuff. regards, |

I tried to solve that, but I couldn't. The WarpCenter Lockup uses the WinLockupDesktop() API, which I cannot catch. I can hook into the process of locking up the desktop, but all I can do is to cancel that lockup, which results in an ugly dialog window telling that the system could not initiate a lockup. However, if you have XWorkplace installed, its XCenter also has a Lockup button, which uses a different method to initiate the lockup, which is compatible with DSSaver. Doodle |

Hmm, too bad. Oh well, not a big deal. No I do not use XWorkplace. Figures IBM could not keep everything uniform and they would have to use a different api for the warpcenter but they probably felt they had a reason for it. Oh by the way I think I will check out your articles on creating modules and see what kind of damage I can do.![]() regards, |

You're *very* welcome to do that. The API has been extended a bit in v1.4, but if you download the sources from Netlabs, it will have a PDF which is up to date, and explains everything. Doodle |
