| I have been told that the best way to get IBM to open source OS/2 is to create an electronic petition that every one can 'sign'/show support for. I have never created one before and need some help in making one. I have seen ones on the internet where one goes to the site and add ones name and e-mail address. It would be neat if this could be done for my e-petition. I have and will continue to send e-mail to IBM about open sourcing OS/2. I have used the feedback part of their download section on their site. With a petition with alot of names on it, they will see there alot of people interested in open sourcing it. | Setting up an electronic petition shouldn't be any problem; but I wonder if we ever would be able to get enough with names to impress IBM. Then again; there are lots of forums where the petition can be spread to; so my suggestion would be that if you create or post a suggestion of what the petition text should say I'll help you out to set the petition up. |

| Thanks for the help. It is appreciated. I will try to create some text or some choices for text for the petition. Will we get enough names to impress IBM? We won't know until we try. I rather try and fail then never have tried at all and always wonder if it would make a difference.
