| This great version is like a dream. It plays successfully the streaming Windows Media (say: mms://xxx.xxx.xx/xxxx.wmv). My hardware are AMD AthlonXP 1800+ and with Firefox 1.5 plus MediaPlay Connectivity extension, SB Live with WVGUI-1.0-RC2 and sblive-os2-0.81b driver. | Hi Alex That sounds good; What a shame that the MediaPlay Connectivity extension is not available for SeaMonkey No, the "advantages" of seperate browser/email does not appeal at all to me - even with this video playback capability Regards Pete |

| I get "Cannot init video" with WarpVision when I tried playing the funny clip. I checked that WarpVision could play MACAW.AVI, so what else do I need to set up? cytan |

| You should setup ODIN and the win-codec. |

| I tried the latest version of WarpVision and it will not start. I will check out the 'installing win codecs' at the OS/2-eCS.Org eZine'. Everytime I click on WarpVision, it just comes up with the properties box. I installed the WarpIn version.

| In the readme.txt it says in "note 3" that you need this libc : ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.1-csd1.zip. Could that be the problem? I don't think it'll be installed automatically, even if it is an warpin-archive.

| I also installed the required codecs. I am not sure I installed them into the correct directory. I have Innowin from Innoteh installed. What is the correct directory to install it to?

| The wincodecs should be copied to odin\system32\ and the ini-file to odin\. Innowin is not involved as far as I know. But I guess the first thing is to get the program to work and not just have the "properties box", and that has nothing to do with the codecs as far as I know. Did you check the libc? --- /Mikael |

| I have to retry the libc files. Since I have Innowin, I copied the wincodecs to a sub directory ; innowin/system32 . I will install ODIN. Will it be in conflict with Innowin from Innotek?

| I installed ODIN and added the path to config.sys. I added the libc files; unzipped to /os2/dll and ecs/dll . It works. It starts and plays files; .wmv files. I tried a site that had a video but it showed an error when it tried to play it.
