Thomas,
Thanks first for the info.
1. Are you logged on the server as admin?
Yes
2.Does this happen only when booted to os/2 command via
Alt-F1 or "always" ?
No to both.
I perform this under OS/2 command prompt of launch pad &
GUI "File manager". It complain some programs are using it.
I did not try Alt-F1 option. Will do so when I have chance.
3. Was there a previous installation on the hard disk?
No. This directory exist in the past. I just delete it and
recreate c:\xx. Then create subdirectory yy under c:\xx
It doesn't allow the subdirectory creation & c:\xx removal
Addition information : though I can't remove this directory, I can rename it. ie move c:\xx c:\zz can be executed.
Any addtional suggestion / comment ?
Suspected another way to solve the problem is to find out what process/program is using that directory, but how ?
Any help from you or anyone is much appreciated.
