last updated at 15 Jan, 2003 11:06 (1 times) Ref to Martins post. Could this not be part of a new HW page then, ie info about hardware that works with OS2 and as well keeping track of drivers as well? |

Well, Mike has started a similiar project to my idea. http://www.os2usr.org/os2sound.htmlBut he only refers to PCI/Integrated Sound cards. It will be great to try to list all possible Sound Cards, old and new. |

I think one could link to it from a hardware page so the work done would not be a duplicate of what some els is doing.
OS/2 Warp-ed to the very end.

| Agree, keeping the drivers on either Hobbes or original site would be best. As well try to keep track of when some drivers are taken offline, and it happends, so copy can be keept at either Hobbes or where ever it would work out. |

| I started something like this a while ago and it is still in the workding process, however I did more then just audio, I included all the drivers I could think of for all the hardware where is really relavent, there are alot of drivers which aren't on hobbes and however many times they get uploaded to hobbes they get removed. However the good part of my site was I own most of the hardware and everything is tested to actually work, and when drivers are broken i'll provide them but make people know not to go near it if they can avoid it. |

6. We are already working on a complete site. |
|
|
| We are currently working on a complete OS/2 and eCS device driver archive on www.ecomstation.org. It still needs to be made to match the look of the site and, of course, finish indexing the massive buttload of drivers. |

You might consider working with Voice on the Warpdoctor site. It is being developed to not only have the drivers but they are also trying to set it up to install them if desired. Andy |
