Anyone get XEphem to work yet? (See recent news).

There seems to be 2 "issues":
1) Needs Lesstif
2) Needs pgccXXX.dll?

After poking around, I found the web page for Lesstif which points to Sourceforge. Okay, great, but there's no link to the OS/2 version, even though it says the OS/2 version exists. None of the mirror sites work either.

And next, seems to need some pgcc dll. Where does one find it? I poked aorund hobbes for pgcc , downloaded a bunch of archives, but nothing obvious in there.

Any pointers? Obviously somebody must've gotten this running...

Actually, it's been running here for years. Take the route via the Lesstif homepage:
http://www.lesstif.org/mirrors.html

See the attachment for the DLL.

After a lot of digging, I finally found everything I need.

I have been using it with Hob X11. I had to tweak a bit and add fonts to the list. (It happens to be a package from HP-UX that seemed to do the trick).
Seems to work okay now.

Thanks.

Well, this port has been around for years, when no Innotek gcc was available. And BTW, since it's an X11 app, you couldn't use Innotek gcc anyway.
