That's what happend when I updated from ver, 1.13 to 2.1.5, my
CDRom disappeared completely, even from the boot sequence, when applied this service to an old Pentium CPU.

Most likely I need disk images to try to reinstall the CD Support in the Selective Install.

How do I find them in the Warp CD? as I have to make floppies.

ciao.

I had the same problem (Thinkpad T20 with DVD-ROM). How did you install the update? If you used some kind of update tool, maybe a backup of the old driver was left?

From a OS/2 window UDF201.exe -d
than DVDINST takes care of the rest,
DVDuninst back you up to prior level.

I think the modified CDROM files screw something
up where the support for the CD disappear.
I reinstalled from Install CD (MCP2) & stopped short
of actually formatting or writing over, the CD Rom
reappeared and works.

On the T20 (I also heve one), I had no problems
moving to UDF 2.1.5

ciao.
