Hi Doodle, is this not compatible with the IBM special edition of Schitech Display Doctor 7.04? I installed it using warpin and the install went fine. But clicking anything on the porperties pages;except for the configure button, for the screensaver causes the wps to crash. Also when the screensave tried to active after the alloted time, I got an sys exception. Unfortunatel I do not recall what the number is. I have uninstalled it. I will have to try it again to get the number.

This is what I am running:
Warp 4 w\fixpak 15, ddpak 2
Scitech Display Doctor 7.04 IBM special edition
The video card uses a Savage4 pro chipset.

regards,
Adam

Never mind, I had forgotten about the account I had created some time ago at my.scitechsoft.com. Went over there and generated a new build of snap for my savage4 chip. I uninstalled sdd and installed snap. The screensaver classes work just great now. No problems so far. One minor thing - the desktop folder it created contains no objects. This is very nice - certainly beats the old lock slowly floating around the screen. I also like the ability to kick it off with the mouse too. No more having to hit the enter key. I really like the IFS module.

Adam

The v1.3 version should work with non-SNAP drivers, too, it's just that the DPMS settings will be disabled, because they are available through some special SNAP GA functions only.

About the empty folder:
First I've thought that it's a bug of an older WarpIn version, because installing WarpIn v1.0.4 solved it. However, it seems that it hasn't solved it for everybody.

I'll look into this problem. Meanwhile, you can find and read the readme.txt, license.txt and changelog.txt files in the destination folder, if you're interested. It seems that WarpIn extracts them, just cannot create the objects for some reason.

Ok, I have downloaded 1.3 and will install it later. The dpms works just fine after of course I installed snap. It is great stuff. It seems to be pretty solid on my box. Yes, I am using WarpIN 1.04. I had been wondering for a long time if someone would come up with some classes to replace that old outdated lockup. Thanks.

Adam
