| Hi, I need some help, I'm trying to create an 'iso' for a DVD by appending five smaller files on a JFS partition. These smaller files are a single 'iso' file split into five components. I need to re-assemble then into one 'iso' file that will ultimately be larger than 2GB in size. The OS/2 copy command does not work. I found a version of the linux command line utility 'mmv' on Hobbes that works up to the point where the target/output file size is approx 2GB. Is there any other OS/2 utility that can do the job for me and append the individual files to create the 'iso' file for me ? |

| There's no need to use anything else than just copy if it's just about appending one file to the other. I just tried copy /B "Enterprise IV - 11.mpg" + /B "Enterprise IV - 12.mpg" + /B "Enterprise IV - 13.mpg" g:\pvr2\enterprise_test.mpg here. Each of those files (recorded with EmperoarTV) is bout 1.5 GB big. It worked without problems, created a file enterprise_test.mpg │4.462.282K│25.02.07│ 20:46 and it plays just fine in EmperoarTV (just the time index jumps back to zero after each episode) so, I don't see a problem. Maybe the trick is to use the /B switch? Cheers |

Thanks, I didn't use the '/B' option, so I'll give this a try. Thanks, Frank |

| I believe you only need to use the first "/B", the rest are redundant... just as an FYI.
