| I have DHCP support installed when I installed eCS. I have a cable modem with DHCP by the ISP. How can I check the DHCP settings/see that received by the/from the ISP. Is there a program that shows the settings? I knew one but I can not remember it.

| In another thread, they mention DHCPMON at the command line prompt/box. I used it and found what I needed. Thanks to the person who posted it at the other 'thread'.

| I think you need a third party application to run DHCP, your stardard TCP\ip config will not handle it, from a modem.. I used the Injoy dhcp, go to injoy website they have a demo you can use for 30days... There might be another one on Hobbes if you look Best |

| I am running DHCP with my cable modem. I am not using any other DHCP programs other than what I installed when I installed eCS 1.1. I will definitely check out the DHCP programs at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu . Thanks for the information and the links.
