Thank you for supporting it and the future of OS/2-eCS.

| Please support osFree (http://www.osfree.org) instead of reinventing the wheel. The project need low-level coders for correctly implementing the chosen kernel (L4). |

Rainer (03 Mar, 2007 10:03):
Kim (21 Dec, 2005 19:45): Supporting thread for the OS2 & eCS kernel bounty.
I do support this - we have to start planning / working for a 64 bit kernel. If we don't do it, OS/2 is really history!! See discussion paper: http://catb.org/~esr/writings/world-domination/world-domination-201.html kind regards Rainer
Looking at a NYTimes article today, I see that the 64/128 bit conversion is going to happen much, much sooner than Eric Raymond suggests. In 2009, so much video data (think YouTube) will be generated that 64 bits is no longer enough to address it. A place like Google is going to be looking at converting from 64-bit to 128-bit in just a few years.
