Hi,
The wpi I downloaded from Hobbes for dMSN 1706f1 or Mercury 1707 does not create a startup icon for the IM software on my eCS 1.2 system . as a result I cannot start the software. Does anyone have a startup script or some helpful info on how to start this java based IM package ?

There'a a utility on hobbes to run java jar files on the fly:
http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/wps/run_java__20030526.zip
It makes program objects of the jar files.
This one is for java 1.3x

Good luck

1) create a program object with the path to your javaw.exe:
x:\java12_5\bin\javaw.exe

2) in the Parameters copy this:
-classpath lib/dMSN.jar;lib/dllStuff.jar;lib/XML.jar;lib/Skins.jar com.dMSN.Main

3) In the working directory put the path to your DMSN folder
