Subject  :  Driver for HP Laserjet 1015

Hello, I'm using OS/2 Warp ver.3. I'm looking for a new printer, but I can't find driver for any of the now selling brands. Could you tell me where I can find a driver, except on www.ibm.com, because there It asked me for some kind of custumer number or something like that, which i have lost probably:-(
I have chosen HP 1015 because it has a LPT port, because I couldn't download the "USB device print driver" from IBM, too:-(
Any help will be appriciated.10x

You can get the last free laserjet driver (v30.800) here:

ftp://cyberia.dnsalias.com/pub/filebase/gfd/sys/prnt/LASERJEN.EXE

Hi, Nikin,

I have a drivers page at my OS2WarpLinks web site that you may wish to check out. It is a long list of web sites that specialize in downloadable drivers for OS2Warp.

It is at:

http://www.os2warplinks.com/main/drivers.htm

Incidentally, despite Warp's unfair reputation for "no drivers", it is the largest page on my site!

If you can't find a driver for today's new printers, you may wish to try eBay for some "old" printer that is still "NIB" or new in the box.

I just bought a brand new Pentium Pro motherboard and two 200 MHz Pentium Pro CPUs with huge heat sinks at eBay, all in their original wrapper, never used. Just be sure to type in the word "new" in your eBay search box.

Good luck!
