"Desktop computers have had TV Tuner cards for several years, but portable computer versions are still relatively new. Originally PCMCIA bus tuner cards were a few hundred dollars, but Zurotech is offering their ZTTV tuner card for just under $60. This NTSC/PAL-compatible card lets you watch and record television from either an antenna or cable connection. You can also view video from composite sources such as a VCR or game console. We took the card for a short test drive and found that it performed well - despite its cut-rate price. ... "

Will this or could this work with a notebook computer running either OS/2 Warp or eComStation?

Hi BWG,

no - it'll never work with OS/2 or eCS unless Zurotech provides an OS/2 or eCS driver (which I doubt). Sorry.
OS/2 has a long tradition of being picky when it comes to TV cards (at least Bt8x8-based PCI cards work...) and it's even more picky about PCMCIA.
Now imagine you combine the pickyness in PCMCIA with that of TVCards, added a non-existent driver from the manufacturer... whoo-hoo... I'ld stay away from that the best way possible...
Chances are, we might someday see such drivers for USB-based cards, okay, but PCMCIA? I doubt.

Greetings
Thomas

I will ask them/send an e-mail about support for eCS-OS/2. I might get one. If it does not work with eCS and my Thinkpads, I will use it on my Gateway 200s.
