hi, i've bought a acer notebook with sis650 integrated chipset, and i want to use os2. But i can't find driver for this chipset and the sis website is not very helpfull.
If you have an idea or if another os2 driver for sis chipset would work, thanks for your answer.

You might want to check out http://www.scitechsoft.com to see if your chipset is supported. I have an onboard video that has a chipset from SiS and Display Doctor for OS/2 supports ( and a whole lot of others too). The price for it is reasonable.
OS/2 Warp-ed to the very end.

I have the SIS650 , running eCS 1.1 and Scitech OEM driver. I have no trouble with it.

I use that chip with SDD drivers, they work perfect... the problem is the sound, i can't remember, but if they use CMEDIA (i have 2 machines with SiS) you can use UNIAUD drivers.

The universal audio drivers have been updated and are at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu (as per news at this site).
OS/2 Warp-ed to the very end.
