1. Write on a CDR Disc? |
|
|
After succesfully writing to a cdr disc, I tried writing on it with a felt tip pen. It 'smeared' right off. Is there a special pen that one uses for writing on a cdr or cdrw disc?

| Yes, there is special pens available, usually the one you uses to write on over head film should work out. But, be carefull, some pens might have chemicals that can destroy the CDs. So ask for pens that is made to be used on CDs. //Kim |

Thanks for the information. I will check out my local office supplies store and/or the computer store. Hopefully, they will have such a pen.

I could not find one in a local office supplies store (they did not really know what I was talking about even though one could get a cd pen when one bought certain brands of cd-r discs in certain amounts). I did find a pen online at http://www.mei-microcenter.com (the price was not too bad). I ordered it when I bought some reasonable priced cd-r discs.
