Ok, well, the nomination was made for Andrew Zabolotny and I have no clue in what way he then participate if Knut Strange Osmond is the one who makes the port. So why not include both then? |

UnixOS2 was among the software mentioned, but there has been mentioned other as well. But, the fact is that you're still nominated, sorry |

| Well, here is the info updates so far: - "The GCC 3.x suite is mainly done by Innotek and especially by Knut St. Osmundsen, definitely not Andrew Zabolotny anymore. Please correct Knuts name on the vote page and add it on the overview page you posted to VOICE." - "Chris Wohlgemuth did great work with CDRecord but the UnixOS2 Build System is done by John Poltorak, not Chris!" - "ircd-hybrid is ported by Yuri Dario and Brian Smith (don't know who made most of the work), at least that's what the entry on Hobbes says." - "Frank Wochatz is spelled with 'z', and it's the first time I heard of him as CDRTools porter. Instead, he has done some great work on eZip and ePDF, see http://www.subsys.de" - "Herwig Bauernfeind is from Austria" - "The maker(s) of ZeroToaster are 20/1 Informationssysteme GmbH" - "I think that's there's a typo her - SVista/2 is from Serenity Systems International, not SCITECH." - "And Mercury (dMSN) is a dutch development, not US based." I will make sure that above updates are done tonight. |

Normally I see messages requesting nominations but this year I didn't see them (not saying they didn't go out just that I didn't see them). |

last updated at 09 Feb, 2005 09:37 (1 times) The call for nominations went out last year september/october, so really late already then for 2003. So due to that everything was late and have to set up yet another nomination we run it as 2004. There isn't just enought time for all the activities; sorry to say. But, it has been said before and I'm asking again. We would like to form a group of people that takes care of the nomination and award process. So if anyone has the interest of being part of this, please either reply to this thread or send an e-mail to me. As well, there might also be suggestion for new or to fine tune the existing to even to remove categories. We have earlier removed the Best OS2 Event... due that there isn't that many events anymore. |

Greetings. As you can see from my profile, my new web page is at http://aaronlawrence.fastmail.fm/Unfortunately, my (very) ex-ISP has stupidly resurrected a 2-years out of date web page at the old address... |
