I have an IBM Thinkpad 755C and a docking station that works/fits it. Is there OS/2 drivers that allow it to be seen/used by Warp ver 4? The docking station has a isa slot, speakers, video, keyboard and mouse ports, (IIRC) scsi port, and an external floppy drive port, serial and parallel ports.

I have tried the IBM site for OS/2 drivers for the docking station that fits a Thinkpad 755C but have not found any. I am looking in/at other sites too.

... with or to yourself !?

I believe your attitude is wrong !
First one needs to investigate and (re-) search for the needed solution !!

Getting successfull: Describe it for others
Getting NO success: Come and ask for (possibly) assistance and help

I have searched sites like IBM ( http://www.ibm.com ), Hobbes (http://hobbes.nmsu.edu ) and did a web search using Google (http://www.google.com ). I checked the Thinkpad section of IBM and found no drivers for OS/2 for the docking station. I will recheck these site incase I mistyped it or used the wrong search words. I put the question here in case there was some one who had already did the search but had found something. I also posted it at a couple groups at Yahoo Groups ( http://groups.yahoo.com ).

There was a reply at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/os2conect
"Wich dock variant do you have ?
Mosts of the perhipials on the docks are gereric so no extra drivers
are needed, the only specific driver is this patch related to the ISA
card :

and the dock support driver diskette :
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=psg1GCOR-3ELK9S&loc=en_US

but I actually think thats intended for Warp 3 only
Unless you have the version with SCSI there where some issues :
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&uid=psg1MIGR-4R3MCT&loc=en_US

And there is actually a document from IBM that discusses setting up
Warp on this model :

there is info on the dock in there

I won the bid on an OEM cdrom for the Thinkpad 755CD. It has dock software for OS/2. I will give it a try with the 755C and the docking station I have. I will return with the results (since it is for the 755CD and I have one, I will try it with it too).

I have seen your tongued emoticon in your answer to my posting !
Your lonesome monologe is somewhat boring and your attitude is wrong !!

Generally NO drivers are needed for a Port Replicator or a Docking Station !!!
Normally a Port Replicator or a Docking Station is ONLY linking through !!

All Toshiba and IBM Thinkpads ran without any additional driver installations!

It's soo simple

However: Happy Holidays !

I will do my best to change my attitude and my monologue. I apologize if I had offended you.

PS Happy New Year.

How about another dock question... TP600X - I want to use my Crystal for sound undocked but I want to use the ALS4000 when in the dock. Any idea how I can make this work?

I do not know your HW ...
... nor your Notebook nor your Sound Card !!

Therefor I am unable to answer and suggest with competency and experience !

Generally, if there are no HW conflicts, it should be possible but you need a
second installation with your Docking Station's Sound Card while the NB's is OFF !!

With these 2 different CONFIG.SYS files you have to prepare a SELECTION to
choose either docked for the ALSA or undocked for the CRYSTAL sound chip !!

You may face another difficulty because of your quite old T600:
How to switch OFF the internal Sound Card while docked in and using the ALSA !?

However, you may give a try ...
... Good luck
