No problem here at all; just use the Peer service that came along with Warp and you're able to share disk and printer resources. If you want to use a more server enviroment; I would go for either WSFeB or Novell. More stable and not so resource hungry as NiceTry //Kim |

| Yepp, there is no problem at all. Apache is available for most OS. I'm running a Apache installation on my fileserver (WSFeB) for local test and development. And for the fun try make a jump to http://195.43.229.158 and you will find Swedish OS2 User Groups new server (it's not in production mode yet) with WSFeB and Apache. Works very well. OS2 World.Com runs on a Linux based installations, but then again I'm running around 30 others sites on that server without any problem. I actually never used pure OS2 installation with Apache in web production. But, when the OS2 UG server is up and running with some more script I will try to test and compare how well OS2 and Linux run perl and php scripts or rather how much the CPU loads differs betwen the OS. //Kim |

I also have WSFeB and Warp 4 at home. I looked around and it looks like Lotus Domino WebServer does support XML ans ASP scripting to a certain degree; however, I would like to know if anyone has tried it? I am also going to post this in the WWW forum. This is my first post and will be coming here more. Great resource. -Peter |

| Can't say if Lotus Domino WebServer support XML or ASP, but only problem I then think is that You get thoose crazy long urls! But, agree Domino is actually a great piece of software; Lotus manage to make something there. Would be nice if there was a tool that could translate the url the Domino creates; is there one? //Kim |

| The only time I've seen the long URLs, such as filename.asp?=... is the way in which the page is executed, it is a GET rather than a POST. This is similar to the CGI technology, take a look at the URL for this message thread, especially when you reply. I was trying to also get the WebSphere to get to work on my box at home, specifying the servername:9090 port to get it to run and it made my box hang. I still need to play. -Peter |
