Really nice one! But a little frightening.... eCS is grabbing me from above, an dumping me among the other garbage...

Winter scheme? Hmm. Interesting concept. I was thinking about a night flight ... leaving orbit for bigger things. Maybe I should frost up the picture? I was thinking a darker desktop is easier on the eyes ... Let me see what I can come up with. It may take some time to digest as thoughts and ideas seem to bubble up. Thanks for the comments!

Wow! Great ideas. I had an 11.5 work day and need sleep. I'll be busy this weekend ... but I'll try to find time for my POV-Ray script and render up some more wallpapers ... thanks for the comments.

Thanks BWG!

I was thinking that it looks a little dark (I tried using a focal blur technique). I think I may put some spotlights on the scene and rerender it. I'll post it if it looks better.

Anybody using these wallpapers? If yes, please post a snapshot of your desktop ... thanks!

Totally awesome! Need to post these good looking desktops to the gallery at www.ecomstation.com. Thanks!

I added some spotlights for the "eCS Marbles". I think it looks better ... not so dark.

Yes, the second one is better. As you said, it is not so dark and the marble colors show up better. Thanks.

Here is my desktop using my flat green icon theme using your latest graphic. My laptop resolution is 1440x900.

DavidG,

It looks a lot better with the revised wallpaper. I really like the fonts for your icons. It is hard to find a hand-written style of font that is also legible.

The font is "Lucida Calligraphy Italic" and must have come off one of the few font CDROM's I bought.

I am using the Innotek font engine with "pmshell.exe". On my laptop, which is where I have your background stored, the setup looks very good. The colors always appear more vibrant on my laptop. On my desktop, the colors always appear not as good.

There is only one drawback to using the Innotek font engine with pmshell that I have discovered. When I go to rename an object, the text is always too big to see everything. However, this is no problem for me. It is still easy to rename objects, but it is just a little inconvient.
