Hi, I was about to post the same bounty, when I saw there already is one.

I'd like to add some infos for developers (although they are readily availbale on the OpenWengo web site).

First of all, we probably want to port the OpenWengo Classic package, not OpenWengo NG, since we already have nearly all required packages for the "Classic" package.

Next, the requirements:

In order to build the WengoPhone Classic, you'll need several components :

* A C and C++ compiler. GCC and G++ are perfectly supported on UNIX platforms. Visual C++ is supported on Windows platforms.
* WengoPhone Classic's source code. Please read this page? for information on how to get it.
* Scons, which in turns requires Python.
* Qt 3.3.x Open Source version (You can download it here) with RTTI, exceptions and STL support enabled.
* libspeex. You need the libspeex's development package, its installation process depends on the OS you use.

I believe we have everything required but libspeex. I don't know how difficult would it be to port it to OS/2, but reading the libspeex website I was unable to find other dependencies, which is a good thing.
I am a little unsure about Scons, but I seem to remember it was ported.

Also OpenWengo on Linux uses ALSA, so we should be at home with Uniaud.

Hope this helps..
Bye

I would like to add that the Video part uses FFMPEG which has also been ported.

I think I would be a good idea to check if it is possible to use Qt 3.3.x also for the NG version.
We would really get behind fast if we stick to the old version.

I've already downloaded the stuff last year but wasn't able to look into it as I've already enough project running that keep me busy.

I would think that something like http://www.sflphone.org/index.html might be a better option...... Openwengo currently only supports VOIP through one provider - Wengo.....
