| Hi There is this old game Sheriff for OS/2, that get me some problems working on OS/2 Warp 4.52. When I execute it, the game loads it window and show the introduction. But when I click on hard, normal or too easy, it just close without giving any message. Can anyone check it out ? Is there a way to register a error log from it to know what is happening ?

| I see the same problem here. There is an entry in POPUPLOG.OS2 related to the program crash. 11-25-2005 16:17:03 SYS3171 PID 0057 TID 0007 Slot 00dc SS2.EXE 0001:0000eb06 I booted my OS/2 3.0 Virtual PC and tried the game in it. It ran just fine. Not a bad clone of SEGA's Bank Panic arcade game. --Lee |

| After installing fixpak 40 on my OS/2 v3 VPC, Sheriff still ran fine. I then proceeded to replace the S3 video drivers with Snap 3.00, Sheriff now crashes consistently with the same sys3171 as before(on Warp 4.52.) Switching to GENGRADD has no effect. GRADD based modern video drivers are the problem. --Lee |
