Is it possible to make a clean OS/2 Warp 4.52 installation from eComStation 1.2? Is it correct that it can be done directly from CD 2? Anybody know?

IIRC - if one can boot from the cd drive, one can install from the cd of eCS. I believe this is possible with eCS 1.1 (I plan to do so on the next computer I assemble). It should be able to be done with eCS 1.2.

Hi I think you need to start the eCS install and select Advanced Install. You should select to not install any eCS enhancements. Regards Pete

eCS 1.0 had a complete OS/2 Warp Convenience Pack on CD #2. I don't know about eCS 1.1 (bought it, but skipped it). eCS 1.2 does not have a separate CP CD. So the available option is to use the SSI installer, and leave out as much as you can. I guess, however, that you'll still end up with mode than a basic OS/2 CP.
