Just wonder if anyone else have had the same problem when using Thunderbird as news reader and when using the subscription function it then 1) eats loads of memory and 2) gets dog slow. Usually when I've started up Thunderbird it takes around 30mb but when I fire up and starts using news groups it increases the memory use to around 110mb!? So I guess that Thunderbird handles the available usenet list groups really bad. The available forums available is around 115.000 - but that really puts Thunderbird into trouble. As it works now I might be best of using something else..... suggestions anyone. I've earlier used pminews - still works but guess that there might be something better available.
