Is it possible to connect an NT4 PC to an OS/2 Network? I have a closed token ring LAN with one OS/2 controller and two OS/2 workstations. The controller is also attached to an Optical jukebox that stores platters of data. The plan is to migrate all the data from the jukebox to an NT4 PC with large hard disk drive. Once this is done the NT4 PC will be removed and connected to a large network so the data can be migrated.
I have installed the NT4 PC on the network - I just need to know how the PC will speak to the controller and vica versa. The PC currently has Netbeui and TCP/IP installed.

Many thanks

As long as you are running the same protocols on the NT4 machine and the OS/2 Warp machines, it should all work together. There is an IBM redbook which looks at network interoperability at:

http://publib-b.boulder.ibm.com/Redbooks.nsf/RedbookAbstracts/sg244786.html

It may offer some help.

There is also a FAQ which might help at:

Hope this helps.
