If the password is not documented by your admin person or they are not available. You will need to go to the OS/2 machine.Open a OS/2 Command Window
Option 1.
Type "SET TELNET.PASSWORD.ID"
if nothing is retruend or null message then
if a password is set elsewhere.
Option 2.
Run "tcpcfg" command without quotes.
Got to AUTOSTART "INETD" TAB
Select "telnetd"
password will be in the parameters field.
If no password is set then this is where it is done.
