| Hi all, a large german news magazine lately had an article about google. Among the stuff emerging from google, there was also "google trends" that I didn't heard of until then. I just took a look at the "google trends" for the keywords os/2 and ecomstation. Quite interesting. Go here if you don't know google trends yet: It shows how much a certain keyword was being searched on google. If you enter OS/2, you'll see how it declines thru the last 2 years. Next clue: You get a comparison chart if you enter more than one keyword (and separate them by commas). Funny things - yet interesting. The drawback is that you probably can't use "ecs" to search for because of the pc company or any other one that uses that abbreviation - it will spoil the results. FWIW I've attached the comparison chart for "os/2" and "ecomstation" here. That could be useful to Serenity Systems (or the ecs community): Check the countries where "os/2" was searched a lot but not "ecomstation" - there's possible markets for a promising advertising... seems liek people there haven't heard of ecs yet. Greetings |

| Like the US market which seems to have little search penetration... though that could be due to people doing generic searches. I have purchased both eCS 1.0 and 1.2 yet when I search for something for it I almost always search for "OS/2 something" (ie: "OS/2 sound drivers") instead of "eCS sound drivers"). - Robert |
