Hi,A while back I bought a Linksys WPC11 card. I first got a Version 4 card, and never was able to get it to work under OS/2 - although it did work under Win98 (but not very well - it kept losing the signal randomly). I did find a little note in the box which said something along the lines of "If you are using Windows NT 4, you'll need a Version 3 card, the Version 4 won't work. Call Linksys tech support and we can exchange the card for a V3 for you". So I called up Linksys...
It took a bit of explaining *why* I wanted a Version 3 card instead of the Version 4 that I had - after all I wasn't running NT4. But eventually after explaining that as far as I could tell V4 didn't work under OS/2 but V3 did work, they finally agreed to ship me the V3 card.
I'm glad I was persistent. The V3 card arrived about a week later and it works fine under OS/2. Also this card didn't lose the signal and seems to have a larger range then the "newer" one. One of the techs I talked to indicated that they changed the chipset from V3 to V4, and this is likely why.
Anyways, that was my experience. If you have a WPC-11 Version 4 card and can't get it to work under Warp, call up Linksys and bug 'em for a V3.
