| two issues: 1 on thinkpad 770z and another on thinkpad t41 both with ecs 1.2 more than 5 attempts at installing ecs 1.2 have been made I have also tried selecting on subsequent installs now onto the thinkpad T41 .... pcmcia harddisk cssw |

| I have heard of troubles with T41 and PCMCIA (someone on the Wireless list couldn't get a Jacaranda card recognised with the proper drivers). Maybe it isn't as compatible as IBM claim? Stuart |

| It currently looks like that the only mPCI card that works is the IBM High Rate Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Adapter (PN: 22P7701) that gives you 11MB. I'm myself using a Dell Inspiron 8600 that came with Intel mPCI, but no drivers there. I then also gave it a try with a Cisco mPCI, but as well no drivers there either. So after a while I finally got my hands on a IBM OEM card via eBay for $35 so I now have everything working on this laptop that I wanted. |
