There are some good programs: Shareware: - OpenChat (use the GemZ addition!) Freeware: - PMBitchX is a port of the Unix-software BitchX. Highly customizable. The last version I tried came with too much predefined kiddies stuff (lots of bans, kicks and silly statements)

I use EZIrc and it is a simple client that is easy to use though it lacks a lot of features found in fo example pmbitchx. //Jesper

Even closer software to use is the ChatZilla that is included in WarpZilla.I would suggest to give this a try.
