Is there any good internet chat software for OS/2? Does anyone have any recommendations? Does anyone have any experience with such software?
OS/2 Warp-ed to the very end.

There are some good programs:

Shareware:

- OpenChat (use the GemZ addition!)
- GTIRC from Gammatech

Freeware:

- PMBitchX is a port of the Unix-software BitchX. Highly customizable. The last version I tried came with too much predefined kiddies stuff (lots of bans, kicks and silly statements)
- VIRC works, but development has stopped in alpha state
- Xchat needs XFree86/OS2, but is the best chat client for any OS. Period. If you want to give it a try mail Platon Fomichev (pla@cland.ru) for the latest version (1.8).

I use EZIrc and it is a simple client that is easy to use though it lacks a lot of features found in fo example pmbitchx.

Even closer software to use is the ChatZilla that is included in WarpZilla.I would suggest to give this a try.
