Open ttd v.0.3.5 worked fairly well in OS/2, so far v.0.3.6 does not work at all here. The porter doesn't have enough time to work on the software and since this code is all checked into the sourceforge project anyone could pick it up and fix some of the bugs.. This is the MOST finished SDL application I have ever used on OS/2. It is flawless, in screen resolution switching, FS support.. so this port is 99% of the way there.

I'm the OS/2 porter of OpenTTD and due to my current situation, I don't really have time to debug this much. The code of the latest SVN compiles perfectly, and if there are any problems with that, they're easy to fix. Someone really just needs to debug their way through the code and find what's going wrong: if the appropriate part can be identified, I could provide any help I can, or the OpenTTD developers on irc.freenode.net #openttd would.

I'll have another look at the game sometime soon and see if I can unearth anything else.

Good news... I just took a look at OpenTTD again now, fixed a couple of compilation bugs from code changes, and the game works again - not sure if it was something I did, something someone else did or an outdated data file, but it works again. I'll post a new binary from the latest SVN in the General OpenTTD forum at www.tt-forums.net, and hopefully OpenTTD 0.4.0 for OS/2 will work perfectly. (The latest SVN features such things as large maps, by the way!)

The interesting thing is that using the install for v.0.3.6 for OS/2 copying just the openttd.exe from the windows version over, it works perfectly fine (without any of the more advanced features the OS/2 version had.. like high resolution and fullscreen). If anyone wants to use v.0.3.6 and the version on sourceforge isn't working then copy the windows executable over it. (with odin). I am going to try to take up building nightlys from one of my workgroup machines.
